A complete home renovation left my yard looking like the muddy construction site it had been for eighteen months. Only a couple of foundational trees remained, and they were struggling to survive. After interviewing a number of landscape companies, I chose LMG Services. I found Larry Johnson to be knowledgeable, trustworthy, and enthusiastic. He has a vision and cares deeply about the work he does. Larry created a design for my property that resonated with me and suited the land. His team was equally impressive and hard working. As the project unfolded Larry was timely and communicative. IF there was any potential deviation from the original plan or budget, Larry clearly explained the circumstances and offered potential options before proceeding. LMG prepared the land, restoring soil health and remedying chronic drainage issues. Larry and his crew painstakingly planted trees, shrubs, groundcover, flowers and laid sod. They also installed an irrigation system. The completed project exceeded my expectations. Larry and his wonderful team felt like family by project’s end. Larry Johnson, Owner
Larry has worked in the green industry for over 30 years. His knowledge and well-rounded experience has been acquired through work in high-end horse farm landscape development & ongoing management, garden center retail, tree nursery installation & development, shadowing owner of leading arborist company, and owning a landscape business operating 20+ years focusing on residential clients and some commercial. He received KY Nurseryman and KY Arborist certifications, served on and past President of CKOTA and Lexington Tree Board. His passion for plants helps clients create their dream gardens that they will enjoy for a lifetime.
Julie Oschwald, Office Manager
Julie has been handling business paper and office work with LMG Services since it began. She has worked with Larry for over twenty-one years. Her thorough and committed work helps to keep our operations running smoothly.

Junior brings a steady, solutions-focused approach to every job and plays a key role in maintaining the organization and condition of our tools, trucks, and shop. In addition to his craftsmanship, he’s become one of our most trusted trainers—passing on LMG’s standards of quality, safety, and professionalism to newer crew members.
Josh Godley
Josh joined LMG Services in July 2025 after relocating to Central Kentucky—and it didn’t take long for him to make an impression. Friendly, humble, and endlessly helpful, Josh brings both a warm presence and an impressive depth of horticultural knowledge to every project.
With a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Horticulture from Louisiana State University and over 15 years of industry experience, Josh has worn nearly every hat in the green industry—operations manager, irrigation technician, foreman, and even nursery manager. He’s managed crews, maintained greenhouses, led installations, and trained teams, all with the same calm, thoughtful leadership that’s become his hallmark here at LMG.
Whether he’s fine-tuning plant selections, shaping a landscape with heavy equipment, or mentoring newer team members, Josh approaches each task with a mix of precision, patience, and humor that elevates the whole crew.
